Dancing On Ice 2013 star Joe Pasqalue has admitted he's shocked to still be on the show!
The comic has so far defied the bookies to survive the first three eliminations of the series without ever being in the bottom two.
It's despite coaches Chris Dean and Jayne Torvill claiming he's the worst celebrity skater EVER.
Joe said this week: "On my very first day, I said to judges Karen Barber and Chris Dean, ‘Am I the worst you have ever had?’ and there was a huge pause and they both said, ‘Hmmm...’ I couldn’t stand up. I even took Chris down with me, so I think I probably am.
“Karen said I had no natural ability but she also said I was the person they are most pleased with because I’ve made such improvement from not being able to do anything. I am still here but I don’t know if it’s because people feel sorry for me.”
The 51-year-old confessed he didn't expect to last past the first week, and puts his success (of sorts) down to pro skating partner Vicky.
Joe told the Daily Record today: "We fit personality-wise. I’m a bit off the edge and she is even more barmy than me. She takes it seriously enough because you have to when it’s dangerous, but not to the point it’s the end of the world.
“When the show starts, I get a bit nervous. At that point they announce your names, the adrenaline starts to flow and she tells me to remember it’s only a game show.
“She knows I’ve done hundreds, from The Price Is Right to Blankety Blank, so that always makes my nerves go away. It’s not real life.”
Dancing On Ice starts at 6:15PM on ITV tonight.
