Dancing On Ice 2013 star Keith Chegwin is determined not to be the joke act on this year's show!
The comic hasn't been the best on the ice so far, having been in the bottom two in the first live show.
But last week he beat rival funnyman Keith Chegwin in the duel to secure a spot in this weekend's latest live show.
Having crashed out of last year's series before even the getting on to the ice for the first performance, Keith is now hoping to prove the doubters wrong.
He said: “For the first time in my life I want to do something serious and I won’t be the joker dancing to Agadoo.
“I’ve put a lot of hard work into it. I want to be technically good. I don’t want to let Liverpudlians down.”
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Cheggers revealed how the show has helped him shed weight.
He explained: “For the first time ever, I can get my leg up onto the work surface in the kitchen. My missus definitely thinks I’ve toned up.
“I have never done any physical exercise in my life. I have never been to a gym, never gone running, cycling. I don’t keep fit.
“For the first time in my life, I feel really good and Dancing on Ice has given me real determination.”
And he added: “My skating partner Olga Sharutenko is brilliant. She has the same enthusiasm and she wants to do her best. We are literally spending hours working on the different moves. She is a real perfectionist.”
