Luke Campbell is nervous about facing the Dancing On Ice 2013 judges after watching from the sidelines for the first live show.
Last night the first half of twelve celebrities performed live on the ice for the first time, with Pamela Anderson, Keith Chegwin, Beth Tweddle, Shayne Ward, Samia Ghadie and Matt Lapkinskas all skating.
Speaking on the show, Luke admitted: "I'm out of my comfort zone here."
The Olympic gold medalist will take to the ice next Sunday but admitted the fear of injury was causing his nerves to increase.
"It's scary but it's one of those things," Luke said at last week's press launch. "I knew what I was getting into when I signed up.
"I've had a few bumps and falls. I was a bit worried about my wrists because you need them for punching.
"I've been wearing wrist protectors but they got in the way when I was lifting my partner."
Next weekend’s second live show will see the remaining six skaters – Oona King, Lauren Goodger, Joe Pasquale, Gareh Thomas and Anthea Turner – skate for the first time.
