Dancing On Ice coach Jayne Torvill reckons that the Olympians in this year's line up could struggle.
Bookies have already installed Gymnast Beth Tweddle as the favourite to win, but Jayne reckons some fans are getting ahead of themselves.
The skating pro suggested that Beth and fellow Olympic DOI competitor Luke Campbell would be tested by the show.
She said: “It will be interesting to see an Olympic star doing something out of their comfort zone.
“With sports people in past series they’ve had strength but haven’t always had rhythm.
“When Dame Kelly Holmes was competing she found the dancing side tough. Even she admitted she wasn’t graceful or elegant. She wanted to do too much herself because she wasn’t used to working with a partner.”
Speaking to the Daily Star, Jayne added: “The London Olympics were massive so people want to see them on the show but I think viewers like to see the odd fall.”
Meanwhile, Jayne claimed that Dancing On Ice was the toughest of the reality shows.
She told the newspaper: “It was interesting seeing if Olympians could cope on Strictly but there’s no doubt Dancing on Ice is tougher.
“It’s a much bigger commitment than Strictly. Training for that isn’t as long.”
