Dancing On Ice 2013 hosts Christine Bleakley and Phillip Schofield are apparently undergoing skating lessons to help them present the show.
In a bid to refresh the series, it's hoped that Christine and Phil will join the celebs on the ice for their interviews and the judges' comments.
There's even claims that the pair could perform a one off routine together to liven up the new series, which hits screens in January.
A source said: “In the past, the presenters have been banned from the ice in case of injury.
“But this year it’s been decided that it would be fun to see Phillip and Christine giving it a go themselves.
“It’s a surefire way to jazz up the programme.”
New Dancing On Ice host Christine Bleakley hit back at critics earlier this year after replacing Holly Willoughby on the ITV1 show. Christine took over from Holly, who moved to The Voice UK, alongside Phillip Schofield for the last series.
Despite concerns over whether she’s a good fit for Dancing On Ice, Christin insisted: “Phillip’s been wonderful and very supportive of everything, so I am looking forward to getting started.
“Out of me and Adrian Chiles (Ex-Daybreak co-host) I’m more the giggly one but both me and Phillip are like that so I think the chemistry will work.”
And the former breakfast TV presenter revealed she wouldn’t be showing as much flesh as Holly.
“I’m not Christine Bleakley- booby, unfortunately, so I won’t be wearing the same kind of dresses Holly did,” she told the Daily Star Sunday. “But I am looking forward to dressing up a bit more and feeling a bit more girlie.”
Stars linked to Dancing On Ice 2013 include soaps stars Samia Ghadie and Matt Lapinskas and telly host Anthea Turner.
TOWIE's Lauren Goodger and Baywatch star Pamela Anderson have already both been seen on the ice, while Jasmine Lennard has been on Twitter begging producers to let her join the show!
Keith Chegwin will be having another go after being ruled out last series from an injury, while at least two Olympians will be involved in the form of gymnast Beth Tweddle and Boxer Luke Campbell.
