Shayne Ward has been spotted in training for the new series of Dancing On Ice 2013.
It was rumoured earlier this month that the former X Factor winner would be taking part in the series, following his time in the West End.
An insider told The Sun today: “Shayne is a previous winner of an ITV talent show so will have high hopes of doing it again.”
The singer was dumped by Simon Cowell after three albums last year, and quickly turned his attention to the West End with a lead role in Rock of Ages.
A source said today: “Shayne has natural rhythm and is confident he’ll really get into skating. But he’s most concerned about pulling off the pink sequinned spandex look.”
Other stars tipped to take part in the new series are said to include Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle and soap stars Matt Lapinskas and Samia Ghadie.
The source added: “Pammy will bring a bit of Hollywood glitz and glamour to the show, which we’ll all need come the winter.
“She’s no stranger to dancing in front of viewers after her stints in America.”
And the supposed insider tipped Beth Tweddle to be one of the stars of the show.
They said: “Beth has great poise for obvious reasons and was keen to give it a go.
“We’ve seen her on the ice and she’s very good. She’ll be a great contender. Matt and Samia will be great too. They’re good skaters and our viewers love the soap stars.”
Dancing On Ice 2013 airs in January on ITV1.
