The former MP lost her seat in Parliament to Celebrity Big Brother's George Galloway in 2005.
Now in a role reversal, it's Oona who's set to appear on a reality telly show.
The Baroness is already in training for the upcoming series, which starts on ITV1 in January.
An insider told The Sun newspaper today: “Oona is a lively character and can’t wait to take part. She was in the running for it way before it was announced that Nadine Dorries was in I’m A Celebrity.
“So hopefully she won’t change her mind when she sees the reaction the Tory receives.”
Other stars tipped to take part in the new series are said to include Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger, Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle and soap stars Matt Lapinskas and Samia Ghadie.
The show kicks off on ITV1 in the new year.
