Former Blue Peter presenter Anthea Turner is apparently set to join the new series of Dancing On Ice after impressing bosses during try-outs.
The Sun says that ITV chiefs have offered a £50,000 deal to the 52-year-old, who has previously appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and Hell's Kitchen.
Other stars said to have attended the practise sessions include Oliver Phelps - who played George Weasley in the Harry Potter films - and Olympic gold medallist boxer Luke Campbell.
A source told the newspaper: "Anthea is still a household name and someone who ITV chiefs are convinced that their viewers will want to see on the ice rink.
"She has managed to keep herself in good nick over the years and is very fit for someone who is 52. Also, Anthea has not been on the television for years so is aching to get back into the limelight."
Anthea hit the headlines in recent weeks after kicking her husband Grant Bovey out of their home over allegations that he had an affair.
Meanwhile, producers have reportedly decided against bringing back controversial former judge Jason Gardiner, who was axed from the panel last year.
They are thought to be considering tweaking the show after viewing figures crashed during this year's series.
Dancing On Ice returns for its eighth run in January.
