TV host Keith Chegwin is set for Dancing On Ice 2013, after injuring himself in training for this year's series.
The telly funnyman was lined up to take part in [cat]Dancing On Ice[/tag] back in January, but broke his arm during training and had to withdraw before the show even made it to air.
“I was supposed to do it last year but I fell over and broke my arm – but I’m a definite for this year," he said today. “I’ve just got to lose weight and skate, I’m really worried about it."
Speaking to the Daily Express, Keith added: "Last year Torvill and Dean said go as fast as you can, so I did and fell over and broke my shoulder and three ribs.
“The producers had been on at me to sign the contract and it was only after I had that I went on the ice and fell over. It’s a good job I’d signed it.”
Keith is now being lined up for the new series which is due to start in January on ITV1.
Let's hope this time he doesn't go quite so fast!
