Nadia Essex has said goodbye to Celebs Go Dating after five series.
The Dating agent made her exit in last night's episode, with voice over Rob Beckkett describing her departure as "the end of an era".
Taking to Instagram, Nadia posted a heartfelt message to viewers, alongside a photo of herself, receptionist Tom Read Wilson and fellow dating agent Paul Carrick Branson.
"Well ladies and gents I do believe tonight is my very last appearance on CGD. It has been a true privilege working with these wonderful men," Nadia said. "It didn’t have to go down this way and it will never not hurt. I wish more than anything that Paul had come on board from the start. How very different mine and many other women’s lives would be.
"I have never laughed so hard and I have never cried so much yet I will always be thankful that I got to do my dream job even if for a short time. I am thankful for every single one of you who have shown me support and love over the past few weeks. I’ve never been so low and your messages have meant more than the world."
She added: "Thank you for tuning in each series. Thank you for accepting me flaws and all. I wish more than ever to go back but I can only control my journey now going forward. Never stop believing in love. Never stop believing in the truth. Never stop fighting to have your voice heard. Thank you for being the best fans in the world. Love you all ❤️ #celebsgodating"
A spokesperson for the show announced earlier this year that Nadia was no longer filming as part of the upcoming season, amid claims of 'improper social media use'.
Nadia later gave her side of events and told her fans: "Today I have officially resigned from Celebs Go Dating."
It was previously rumoured that Lara Asprey, who currently appears on W dating show The Ultimate Matchmaker, could replace Nadia.
Nadia's exit comes after Eden Blackman also left the show. He said earlier this year: "I’m immensely proud of the show’s success but after four great series, it’s now time for me to fully commit to my other projects.... I’ve had a great time and following its best rated series to date, wish them nothing but more success for the show moving forwards."
Receptionist Tom Read Wilson is still on the show, alongside new matchmaker Paul Carrick Branson who replaced Eden.
Meanwhile, the line up of celebrities on the current cast includes Sugababes star Mutya Buena, TOWIE's Chloe Sims and Love Island's Olivia Attwood and Eyal Booker.
Joining them are Made In Chelsea's Alik Alfus, TOWIE star and blogger Vas J Morgan and Diversity dancer Sam Craske, Goggleboxer Amy Tapper and Ibiza Weekender's Callum Alexandré Izzard.
Celebs Go Dating airs Sunday-Thursdays on E4.
