Marnie Simpson wants to join Celebs Go Dating 'to date girls' now she's single

Celebrity Big Brother 2016

Marnie Simpson is hoping to join E4's Celebs Go Dating cast after splitting from Lewis Bloor.

The on off couple finally called it quits last month following claims that Lewis had been unfaithful to Marnie.

"He doesn't know how to be truthful and will continue to lie until the day he dies," Marnie said after allegations appeared in a newspaper. "I'll never speak to him again."

Lewis took to Twitter to say: "It was a drunken mistake, a terrible thing I wish I had the courage to just admit my wrong doing so Marnie did not have to find out from these girls."

He added: 'I am utterly disappointed in myself for hurting such an amazing girl, she did not deserve any of the pain that I have caused."

Now her relationship is over, Marnie has revealed hopes of joining the next series of Celebs Go Dating on E4.

"I haven't managed to watch much of Celebs Go Dating as I've been busy filming Geordie Shore," she told Star magazine. "But I would love to appear on it now I'm single.

"I do think I'm unlucky in love and there is no hope for me, so I definitely need help."

And Marnie added in a separate interview to OK! Magazine: "But right now I'm a little bit of a man hater so they'd have to let me go on some dates with girls too."

Celebs Go Dating will air its third series later this year, with the show having just finished its second run on E4.

Stars on the latest series were TOWIE's Joey Essex, former Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, American reality star Jonathan Cheban, Diversity's Perri Kiely, Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton, reality star Ferne McCann and Ex On The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother's Stephen Bear.
