Britain's Got Talent YouTube channel notches up 1 BILLION views

Britain's Got Talent

More than ONE BILLION people have watched videos on the official Britain's Got Talent YouTube channel, it has been revealed.

The figures released this month make the show the most watched YouTube channel for any telly show.

Having only begun uploading videos in 2009, the show's channel is also one of the Top 50 channels in the world.

Peter Cassidy, Head of Fremantle Media UK Interactive, said: “With one billion views worldwide, [cat]Britain's Got Talent[/cat] is not just a national treasure but a global sensation. Along with [cat]The X Factor[/cat] UK, it’s one of the most successful YouTube channels in any country, in any genre. We look forward to the next billion.”

Some videos on the YouTube page have notched up millions of views on their own.

The most popular videos on the Britain’s Got Talent YouTube channel include Diversity and Susan Boyle’s performances in the 2009 Live Final, schoolgirl Natalie Okri’s rendition of Alicia Keys’ No one, and Ronan Parke’s 2010 audition.

This year’s runners-up on Britain’s Got Talent, Jonathan & Charlotte are already the eighth most watched video, clocking up 18 million viewers with their audition for the Judges.

But some of the most popular moments, such as Susan Boyle's original audition haven't been uploaded to the website.

No doubt that would extra millions more views too!
