Britain's Got Talent: Jonathan Antoine, Charlotte Jaconelli get £1 million record deal

Britain's Got Talent - Jonathan and Charlotte

Britain's Got Talent 2012 stars Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli have been offered a £1 million record deal, it has been revealed.

The opera singing duo wowed viewers on the latest series of BGT, eventually finishing runners up on last Saturday's final to Ashleigh and Pudsey.

It's therefore little surprise to hear that record label boss [tag]Simon Cowell[/tag] has wasted no time in offering the pair a contract.

"Jonathan and Charlotte are undoubtedly talented. Everyone loved them and we are looking forward to working with them.," a source at Simon Cowell's Syco record label said this week.

Writing on Twitter, [cat]Britain's Got Talent[/cat] judge David Walliams added: "Great news that my Simon has offered a record deal to #BGT runners-up Charlotte and Jonathan. They are both sooooo talented."

Speaking on the final last week, Simon gushed about the teenage duo: "I realised that you aren’t just talented but your loyalty and friendship has made the act so special."
