Britain's Got Talent 2012 judge Amanda Holden has hit back at claims of rows between herself and Alesha Dixon.
It was claimed last week that Amanda was threatening to quit the show due to a lack of screentime, with producers apparently favouring new judge Alesha over Amanda.
But speaking on her official website this weekend, the West End star hit out at the reports, saying that the stories left her "disappointed."
She insisted that there was a "genuine friendship" between her and Alesha and that the tabloid reports were full of "untruths."
Amanda explained: "After the last year's events and the publicity I have, by default, gained, I hope to be considered a role model and ambassador for hundreds of women across the UK," she said on the website.
"I therefore cannot condone such malicious gossip as myself and Alesha being at 'loggerheads'.
"As a mother of two girls I am raising them to be considerate and respectful of other women and each other. I cannot stand by and let untruths be printed or posted online which they may possibly read in the future."
And Amanda also revealed she did want to return to the show next year.
She added: "Both Alesha and I are hugely disappointed that everything we predicted to happen has - despite us sharing a genuine friendship. I hope to be back for series 7 of BGT and have never considered leaving."
