Britain's Got Talent 2012: Loveable Rogues want to be 'credible'

Loveable Rogues

Britain's Got Talent 2012 boy group the Loveable Rogues have said they wanted to be seen as a 'credible' band.

The trio of Te, Sonny and Eddie, won over the judges on last night's show with an original song.

The group revealed today how they didn't want to audition for shows like [cat]The Voice UK[/cat] or [cat]The X Factor[/cat] as they wanted to show off their song writing skills.

Te said: “We wanted to be credible and it took us ages to get round the concept of applying.

“But we didn’t want to apply for The Voice or The X Factor because on those shows you are performing covers – it’s about the voice. We are showing what we do together in terms of songwriting and style as well as singing.”

The group also confessed their decision to apply for [cat]Britain's Got Talent[/cat] was down to Simon's return to the panel!

Te added: “We wanted to see Simon. He’s what everyone wants. So we wanted to do BGT.”

After impressing the panel with their song Love Sick last night, the boys will find out if they've made the live shows in two weeks' time.
