The two shows will avoid a clash this week after ITV finally caved in and moved Britain's Got Talent to a later slot of 8:30PM on Saturday night.
It followed four weeks of The Voice thrashing its rival when the two reality shows overlapped for 20 minutes on the weekend.
Last Saturday the BBC series was watched by 11.8 million viewers, while BGT saw just 5.2 million at the same time.
But in more bad news for Simon, bookmakers William Hill are making The Voice UK 1/10 to spawn a UK number one single before BGT (which is 11/2 to win).
“While BGT is a talent show, the majority of people are singers but we think the standard on The Voice will see them steal a march in the charts,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
Jaz Ellington is currently the favourite to win The Voice UK, which continues this Saturday AND Sunday on BBC One.
