14-year-old Paige Turley has said she’s still coming to terms with being noticed in the street after her audition on Britain's Got Talent 2012.
The young singer impressed the judges on Saturday with her take on Skinny Love.
Asked about the unusual choice of track, Paige said today she wanted to perform something different for the judges.
"I wanted a different song that not a lot of people sing or know, so something completely different for the judges to listen to," Paige explained.
She added: "I think it shows a good range of my voice too."
Performing to the judges - and 10 million viewers - is daunting for anyone, let alone a 14-year-old, and Paige admits she's still coming to terms with her overnight fame.
"It's really, really weird," she explained. "Just to be noticed, it's... I really, really enjoy being noticed, I don't know how to describe it."
The youngster also teased her upcoming performances, if she made the [cat]Britain's Got Talent[/cat] live shows next month.
She said: "Hopefully if I get the chance I'm going to try something different to show a different style to my voice. Something upbeat, modern."
Paige went on: "It'd be amazing to make Scotland proud and follow in the footsteps because she's got a huge career. It'd be amazing, a dream come true."
We'll see if Paige makes it to the live shows in a few weeks' time!
