Britain's Got Talent 2012 star Hope Murphy has revealed she has auditioned for the show three times before.
The singer wowed the judges on Saturday night, but she was rejected before.
Essex performer Hope appeared on Daybreak this morning, explaining how she previously worked with Pop Idol judge Pete Waterman on her voice.
But she confessed: “If you saw me when I was eleven, I was a lot quieter, so I’m glad that this is the one time that I’ve got the opportunity to get to the next stage.”
At just 16-year-old, Hope wowed the panel with a mature take on Kate Bush classic This Woman's Work.
“The comments from the judges were amazing, I couldn’t have asked for anything better," Murphy told Lorraine Kelly.
“Obviously you go up there and you want to impress them, so to hear every single one of them have positive comments, was just overwhelming.”
