Britain's Got Talent 2012 hopeful Hope Murphy has said she's on a diet in a bid to lose weight and win the show.
The 16-year-old performer impressed the judges on Saturday night with her take on This Woman's Work, wining a place in the next round.
The blonde singer said she was inspired by the likes of Adele, explaining: "She has done so well for herself and she hasn’t felt the pressures of losing weight. She’s won so many awards.
"I don’t think anyone pays attention to her weight because she’s so talented. She’s a massive inspiration for me. She’s a bigger girl and she’s done so well for herself."
But the teenager confessed she felt under pressure to lose some weight, telling the Daily Star Sunday: “I admit I am dieting and I do think it would make me more confident as a performer.
“But I’m not worried about it. I love singing and will do that no matter what my weight is.”
Essex star Hope also revealed how she was taunted at school for her weight, adding: “It was mainly name-calling but being bullied has made me stronger. I know there are going to be knock-backs whether it is to do with weight or voice.”
Britain's Got Talent 2012 continues this Saturday on ITV1.
