Zipparah Tafari (Britain's Got Talent 2012)

Britain's Got Talent star Mr Zip has been offered work by Manchester Fire and Rescue service, it has been claimed.

The rapper, who had everyone singing his catchy song about losing your keys and phone last weekend, is wanted to promote safety awareness.

The Sun reports that his local 999 rescue service want Mr Zip to star in a new safety campaign.

“Mr Zip has been inundated with offers but the weirdest one has to be from the Manchester Fire Service," a source told the newspaper.

The insider added: “They’re always telling people to make sure they know where their keys and mobile phone are in case there’s a fire.

"It will be tricky for him to do it as he’s signed to BGT for now but never say never.”
