The boys - Craig, Dean, Chris and Jay - come from Manchester and had impressed Gary Barlow during their original audition last summer.
But they were booted out over claims they had already signed a management deal, against the rules of the show.
Dean explained in tonight's show: "We all just stick together, we jam and just like, throw that in there, yeah I’m feeling that idea, throw it down, put it on the mic, straight in there and it’s just like. And when you get into this, when you’re all on the same level and you’re all vibing it’s just like, next level, serious."
Speaking to the judges before their audition, Dean went on: People, like where I’m from anyway, everyone’s in debt like, up to their eyeballs in debt and people sweep to crime, it’s not what they want to do.
Craig added: "We’ve done stuff we regret in the past but that’s not what we’re about, obviously the past is in the past.
"We’ve been gigging anywhere and everywhere, charity gigs, schools, clubs, but we’re here on Britain’s Got Talent to take us to that next level and we want to be known, we want to show everyone what we can do. "
The boys performed a unique take on classic Otis Redding track Sitting On The Dock of The Bay.
It was then over to the judges for their decision...
"That was a fantastic audition," Alesha raved. "I loved the harmonies, the rapping... I feel there is a lot more you can give."
Amanda told the boys: "I loved the song choice! I was not expecting that!"
"You've got great chemistry," Simon added, "I'm really glad you auditioned, I've got a good feeling about you guys."
With four yeses, it's through to the callbacks for The Mend!
