Britain's Got Talent boss Simon Cowell has reportedly been editing tonight's audition show himself, leaving the backstage team in chaos.
The music mogul has been cutting and changing this evening's second episode, adding in some acts and removing others.
The Sun reports this morning that Simon is unsurprisingly keen to make sure that the ratings this week improve and beat The Voice UK in their 20 minute overlap.
Last Saturday night the rival BBC One show had close to 9 million viewers, while Britain's Got Talent had only 6.7 million during the clash.
"Simon changes it up until the last minute, I've literally only just done the voice-over for the show that is going out tomorrow," Stephen Mulhern told the newspaper yesterday. "He'll take stories out and he'll twist bits about and he'll say I don't want that there, and I want it there.
"He'll watch both shows throughout the week and chop them about, so I've had to come back in to re-do the voice-over.
"People don't realise how all over it he is.
"He is a judge but he also covers every bit of that show, there is not one bit that goes out that he hasn't signed off. I find if phenomenal, if not incredible."
Let's hope it's all worth it!
Britain’s Got Talent 2012 airs tonight at 8PM on ITV1.
