Britain's Got Talent 2012: Boy group The Mend hope to impress!

Britain's Got Talent 2012 - The Mend

Boy group [tag]The Mend[/tag] will be seen attempting to win over the Britain’s Got Talent 2012 judging panel tonight, after being kicked off The X Factor last year.

The boys - Craig, Dean, Chris and Jay - come from Manchester and had impressed Gary Barlow during their original audition last summer.

But they were booted out over claims they had already signed a management deal, against the rules of the show.

Will they fare better on BGT?

Dean explains in tonight's show: "We all just stick together, we jam and just like, throw that in there, yeah I’m feeling that idea, throw it down, put it on the mic, straight in there and it’s just like. And when you get into this, when you’re all on the same level and you’re all vibing it’s just like, next level, serious."

Speaking to the judges before their audition, Dean goes on: People, like where I’m from anyway, everyone’s in debt like, up to their eyeballs in debt and people sweep to crime, it’s not what they want to do.

Craig adds: "We’ve done stuff we regret in the past but that’s not what we’re about, obviously the past is in the past.

"We’ve been gigging anywhere and everywhere, charity gigs, schools, clubs, but we’re here on Britain’s Got Talent to take us to that next level and we want to be known, we want to show everyone what we can do. "

The boys perform for the judges, but will it be a yes or a no?

Britain's Got Talent 2012 airs tonight at 8PM on ITV1.
