VIDEO: The Mend audition for Britain's Got Talent 2012!

David Walliams (Britain's Got Talent 2012)

Boy group The Mend - who were axed from The X Factor last year - will be seen auditioning for Britain's Got Talent 2012 in tomorrow night's episode.

The group had originally impressed Gary Barlow at bootcamp in 2011, but were axed over claims that had already signed a management deal.

Gary had told the boys: "We’ve never had a band that’s won the X Factor but I think we’ve got a great chance now."

A spokesperson said at the time: "It’s against the rules for any act to be party to a management agreement. As The Mend are currently under a management contract they can’t continue in the competition.”

The Mend hit headlines again at bootcamp, when they turned up to continue despite being booted out.

A source told The Sun last year: "You’ve got to hand it to them, they’re desperate for fame. But it would break the rules to have them on.”

And as this teaser clip from Saturday night's Britain's Got Talent audition shows, the group are determined to have another stab at stardom.

The four guys - Craig, Dean, Jay and Chris - are seen joking around with judge David Walliams as they prepare to sing for the panel.

But will it be a yes or a no? We'll just have to wait until tomorrow night, 8PM on ITV1, to find out!
