Britain's Got Talent 2012 receives Ofcom complaints over Jonathan Antoine audition

Simon Cowell (Britain's Got Talent 2012)

Telly watchdog Ofcom has received 50 complaints over Simon Cowell's remarks to [tag]Jonathan Antoine[/tag] on Britain’s Got Talent 2012 at the weekend.

Music mogul Simon whispered to guest judge Carmen Electra "Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse" as Jonathan and pal Charlotte Jaconelli walked out on stage.

But despite the odd pairing, the duo went on to wow the judges and audience with an amazing pop opera duet, getting four yeses from the judges and a standing ovation from the crowd.

After the performance, Simon told the pair: "Charlotte I think you’re good but Jonathan you are unbelievable. I mean seriously you have an outstandingly good voice."

He added: "I mean that’s unbelievable, Jonathan you are a future star."

According to the Daily Star, Ofcom has so far received almost 50 complaints over the incident at the end of Saturday's show.

Fortunately however they're seeing sense, and confirmed that no action would be taken as no breach of TV guidelines had taken place.
