Singing duo Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli have become the early favourites to win Britain's Got Talent 2012.
Bookies William Hill were very impressed by the first night of auditions last weekend, and claim that in the first twelve hours of betting over 80% of Hills customers say Jonathan & Charlotte can win this year’s competition.
“The producers needed to bring out an early big gun for the return of Simon Cowell and Jonathan & Charlotte are by far the best backed first night contestants!” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
Singer Sam Kelly is second favourite, while Only Boys Aloud are at 10/1. Wacky Dennis Egel is looking like an outsider at 80/1.
Meanwhile the second audition episode tomorrow night is heavily odds-on to receive more viewers than The Voice, according to Ladbrokes.
The battle of David and Goliath continues and it's BGT who's the clear favourite (1/8) to attract the most viewers this weekend, however during the 20 minute overlap the bookies are predicting The Voice (1/3) will come out on top.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "It's still early days but it looks like ITV has got this week's ratings in the bag already. We anticipate that once we get the to business end of the shows it will be a dog-eat-dog fight over viewers."
Britain’s Got Talent 2012 continues tomorrow night at 8PM on ITV1.
