Teenage male choir Only Boys Aloud have said they've been overwhelmed over their support after appearing on the show at the weekend.
The 133 boys from the Welsh Valleys secured a place in the next round of auditions after impressing the show's judges, including Simon COwell
Simon told them: "I have got a very, very good feeling about you lot. I really, really loved what you did. I’ve never heard that song before but I absolutely love it and I think you guys are amazing."
Speaking to WalesOnline this week, the boys admitted it was an “absolutely terrifying” experience to audition for the show, but said the reaction from viewers has been amazing.
One of the boys explained: “We were trending on Twitter worldwide, at one point I think we went up to second position which is amazing, and then just in the neighbourhood you had locals coming up to you, and it’s just great for us in the choir.
“Confidence and self-belief has always been something we’ve aspired to achieve as well as the other greatness that comes with singing in a choir.”
The group, who performed a Welsh hymn at their original audition, teased they would "stick to their roots" through the show.
Teasing their next performance, Choir leader Tim added: “I think it will be important for us as a choir to continue the reason and the principle that we are doing this particular choir, such as sticking to our roots, making sure our traditions are still alive.”
