A 29-year-old woman has been charged with breaking into Simon Cowell's house, just hours after Britain's Got Talent aired last night.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed this evening that a woman going by the name of Leanne Zaloumis faces a charge of aggravated burglary after being arrested on the premises of the music mogul’s house in West London.
They said: "Officers attended the address and found a woman had forced entry to the premises. She was arrested and taken to a west London police station where she remains. A 29-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of burglary."
A spokesperson for Simon refused to comment on the incident and didn't confirm whether or not Simon was in the house at the time.
The talent show boss was in the UK this week to launch the new series of Britain's Got Talent, which returned with 10 million viewers on ITV1 last night.
