Britain's Got Talent 2012 auditions: Remix Monkeys impress the judges!

Britain's Got Talent

A Sheffield based street dance act impressed on Britain's Got Talent 2012, with the judges comparing them to previous winners Diversity.

The Remix Monkeys were formed only last year, but won over the judges at auditions earlier this year.

The group has eight members, who wear colourful body suits when performing their routines.

Dancer Kirsty Allen told the Star: “It was really exciting. We got to meet lots of people but it was quite nerve-wracking as it was the first time we’ve done anything like this.

“The judges compared us to Diversity but that’s not what we were going for.

“They said we were original but we needed to work on that.”

The group are hoping that their audition will be featured when the show kicks off on Saturday night.

Kirsty added: “I do want it to be shown on television but at the same time I don’t!

“I feel very proud of everyone, we put as much work as we could in."

Britain's Got Talent 2012 starts at 8PM on ITV1 this weekend.
