Britain's Got Talent 2012: Ant and Dec tease this year's wacky acts!

Ant and Dec (Britain's Got Talent 2012)

Britain's Got Talent hosts Ant and Dec have revealed some of the acts who have tried out for the current series, with hopefuls ranging from a female drag queen to ukulele players!

The pair, who have been hosting the show for six years now, admitted that every audition saw something new and different.

"There was someone who played their teeth which was very bizarre. You think you’ve seen it all and you haven’t," Ant teased.

Dec added: "We also had our first female ‘female impersonator’, a woman pretending to be a drag queen!

"The British public constantly surprise you with weird and wonderful things. You think a) why, and b) how did you even discover you can do that!"

But fortunately, the pair insists that there has been some actual talent on stage too, saying: "There’s been some very good singers and musicians. We’ve also seen the return of the ukulele! We’ve had a few ukulele players audition."

The Geordie hosting duo also explained that this year viewers would see more than ever from behind the scenes.

"There have been loads of memorable moments this year. You’ll see a lot more backstage goings on this series," Dec said.

Ant added: "We had more cameras backstage than ever before to catch all the action, and show more of the reality at the auditions."
