Britain's Got Talent 2012: Amanda Holden brands Simon Cowell 'evil'!

Simon Cowell

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has nicknamed Simon Cowell “Voldemort” because of his new nasty personality!

Simon returned to the show's judging panel this year, and from reports it sounds as though the music mogul has been taking no prisoners with his comments to acts.

The 52-year-old has previously said that last year's show saw a lack of talent and he's determined to turn around the series after its ratings fell last summer.

And according to Amanda, that means being nasty to most of the hopefuls who try out!

“Simon is really wicked and I find that really amusing," she told the Daily Star today. “I always used to call him Darth Vader but this year I called him Voldemort as he is particularly evil.”

West End star Amanda, the only judge to have appeared on all six series of the show so far, also backed the show to beat The Voice UK when both go head to head on Saturday nights this month.

She added: “The show is bigger, better, very saucy, very naughty and full of laughs.”
