Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell is returning to the show nastier than ever, with the music mogul full of insults as the first episode prepares to kick off in a week's time.
Britain's Got Talent will burst back onto our screens next Saturday night, earlier than ever before, and it seems that Simon is back and in charge, if teasers of the first auditions are anything to go by.
The 52-year-old music exec is seen not only hitting out at hopeless acts, but also the show's judges.
He tells one wannabe on stage: “It’s interesting but for a small period, like dinner with Amanda Holden.
“It’s like you have the prawn cocktail but you can’t go any further.”
And Simon also suggested that Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon were getting jealous of pretty girls who try out for the series!
“The best thing is when a pretty girl comes out and the girls obviously don’t want to put them through,” he said. “When you mention it they get really defensive. The more they get annoyed, the more I do it.”
The new series will go head to head with The Voice UK, and Simon is reckons that BGT has the artists to win in the ratings battle.
“Britain’s Got Talent is unpredictable and the panel is interesting," he added. “We have some really good people. We have found cooler artists. I’d watch it!”
Britain's Got Talent 2012 starts on March 24 at 8PM.
