Britain's Got Talent 2012: David Walliams refuses to tone down his risqué humour

New Britain's Got Talent 2012 judge David Walliams has said he's going to be a "softy" on the panel, explaining he'll be this year's sympathetic judge.

The comedian and actor told the programme's official website this evening: “I’m sympathetic. As an actor, I’ve been to auditions and experienced rejection. I know how tough it can be.

"I’ve also a soft spot for the more eccentric acts.”

But the outrageous funny man insisted that he had resisted pressure to tone down his often smutty sense of humour for the series, which starts on Saturday, March 24.

He added: “I’ve really gelled with Simon, we’re always winding each other up.

"It’s also great that I haven’t had to tone down my risqué sense of humour for the show.”
