Britain's Got Talent hosts Ant and Dec banned from winning any more NTAs!

Ant and Dec

Britain's Got Talent hosts Ant and Dec have been banned from winning anymore National Television Awards, it has been reported.

The pair has won the Best Entertainment Presenter award for 11 years running, and show chiefs have had enough, The Sun suggests today.

According to the newspaper, the pair will instead be honoured by having the award named after them!

"Ant and Dec have taken more awards than any other show or star in the ceremony's 17-year history," a source told the newspaper. "So now there's talk they will step out of the competition to give others a chance and organisers will rebrand the category The Ant And Dec Entertainment Presenter Award."

The Geordie duo once again scooped the award in January, for their work on hit ITV1 primetime shows Red or Black, Britain's Got Talent and I'm A Celebrity.

A source added: "It will be news to them and the idea will depend on whether they want to go along with it. They might just say no, in which case the organisers can't not let them enter."

Ant and Dec return to TV with Britain's Got Talent on March 24.
