Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon has seemingly confirmed the launch date for the new series of the show, revealing today it will start on March 24
If confirmed by ITV themselves, it will mean that the premiere episode will go head to head with The Voice UK, which announced it'd be launching on March 24 to.
New Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon let slip the launch date during an interview on Daybreak earlier today.
She said: "It's incredible, it's good fun. It's going to be on March 24, so it's coming soon."
The former Strictly Come Dancing star also revealed that more acts than ever had made the live shows, with 45 acts having now been chosen.
"We have our final 45. It's very exciting, you will be happy. I'm very happy," she added.
Sources at the BBC hit out at ITV earlier this week for launching the new series against The Voice UK.
One insider told The Sun: "This is typical of ITV, parking their tanks on our lawn just as we launch a major new format. They are smarting because they didn't get the show, although they bid £10 million more than us."
