Britain's Got Talent 2012: Amanda Holden nominated for 'Mum of the Year'

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has been nominated for mum of the year, despite receiving criticism for going back to work on the TV show just weeks after giving birth.

In perhaps a little validation for the West End star's decision, Amanda is in the running for the title alongside the likes of This Morning host Holly Willoughby and Victoria Beckham.

Although on the other hand, she's also joined in the nominations by Celebrity Big Brother's Natasha Giggs, TOWIE's Chloe Sims and Charlotte Church too.

Also nominated are Danielle Lloyd and Nicola McLean, who also appeared in this year's Celebrity Big Brother, last year's winner Stacey Solomon and Dancing On Ice star Jennifer Ellison.

Reality TV star Chloe, who introduced her six-year-old daughter on the ITV2 series last month, wrote on Twitter this week: "I'm so flattered to find I'm on the short list for celebrity mum of the year!! Thank you for voting for me, on x [sic]"

Fans can vote online and the winner will be announced later this month.
