Simon Cowell is having the "best time" being back on Britain's Got Talent this year, fellow judge Amanda Holden has claimed.
Speaking to The Sun, the West End star also claimed that this year's judging line up - featuring new judges Alesha Dixon and David Walliams - was the best the show has ever had.
"Simon is having the best time this year. He's really missed being on the show and always says he'd never give it up. It's great that he's back," Amanda explained. "He really made me laugh because I got up and danced the other day when an act came on.
"Simon grabbed my hand and said, 'And to think, three weeks ago you were on your death bed'. He was teasing but he's right. The human body is amazing."
Amanda, who told the paper that the talent on the display was some of the greatest ever, continued: "It's one of the best line-ups we've ever had. Alesha is a girly girl like me but also knows all about the cool stuff.
"Simon took the mickey because I told someone they were 'with it'. He said, 'My mother says that'.
"Now he gets me to say it whenever he can and snorts with laughter. I love to play the court jester.
"But I really really love it. It's great to be back."
