Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden was won over at the show's auditions last week by a pair of singing monkey puppets!

According to the Daily Star, the West End singer quickly fell in love with the act, called Mr Pickles and The Junk Shop Quartet.

From the mind of musician Mike Stocks, the audition in Birmingham last weekend saw the puppets form a band and perform a medley of tracks.

Amanda raved: “Call me a juvenile but I loved it. It appeals to the child in me.”

Mike told the newspaper: “The judges seemed to appreciate what I was doing, particularly Amanda Holden.

"She thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.”
