Britain's Got Talent 2012: The poor TestostaTones flop in live audition!

Simon Cowell

The TestostaTones won the Britain's Got Talent 2012 YouTube auditions this evening, meaning they got their chance to perform for the judges... live!

The group became the show's first ever act to try out for the panel live, with their audition being streamed across the world online. No pressure then!

The TestostaTones are a five-piece acapella group from East Anglia who’ve been singing together for just 18 months. There are two sets of brothers in the group – Stephen & Paul and Richard & Bim, with their long-time friend Steve completing the line-up.

Unfortunately, despite receiving the most votes from the public, their audition for the judges didn't go well, with Simon Cowell requesting they perform another song after their first one failed to win over the judges.

Performing Born To Be Wild by Steppenwolf, the guys received the dreaded four buzzers.

Starting with Simon and quickly followed by Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, the group had to stop singing after getting buzzed out.

We'll have to wait until March to see whether the judges had a sudden change of heart and put them through, but we're not holding our breath!

Five other runners up in the YouTube competition will also be taking to the stage to the try out for the judges later this evening.

Britain’s Got talent 2012 returns in the spring.
