Britain's Got Talent 2012 auditions: Gay dancers 'The Sugar Dandies' get standing ovation

A dancing duo made up of a gay couple saw a standing ovation at the Britain's Got Talent 2012 auditions, it has been revealed.

The Sugar Dandies, made up of couple Soren and Bradley surprised the panel with their performance of ballroom dance earlier this year.

Speaking about the audition, new Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams recalled: "That was very moving.

"They obviously really loved each other and loved dancing, it was moving."

And he revealed that the pair were heckled when they originally walked out on stage at auditions in Manchester last month.

The Little Britain comic explained: "What was interesting was when it started, the audience were laughing at two man dancing.

"But by the end they were on their feet. That was very special thing that can only really happen on this show."

Britain's Got Talent 2012 auditions continue tomorrow in Birmingham.
