The Britain's Got Talent 2012 auditions in Scotland at the weekend were blighted by dog boo backstage, it has been claimed.
Dog acts are common on the talent show, but the amount of canines that turned up to try out when auditions hit Edinburgh on Saturday caused problems.
The nervous animals left the city's Festival Theatre smelling of poop, with staff following around the pups behind the scenes cleaning up after them.
"Dog acts can be hilarious but we saw the downside this weekend — there was poo everywhere," an insider told The Sun.
Judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Alehsa Dixon became frustrated as delays saw filming running some four hours behind schedule.
"The judges are used to eccentric and unpredictable acts. But this is a different thing to deal with altogether," the source added.
Unfortunately there was just as much rubbish on the stage too, with only one act impressing the panel.
