Britain's Got Talent judges glad to have Amanda Holden back (Sorry, Carmen!)

Amanda Holden

Britain's Got Talent judges David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and of course Simon Cowell were pleased to welcome back Amanda Holden to the show yesterday, after Carmen Electra stood in as a guest judge last week.

The Baywatch star's poor reception left the other judges seemingly over the moon to have Amanda back on the show so soon.

Alesha tweet at the weekend: "I cannot wait for @Amanda_Holden to come back tomorrow! I've really missed her 🙂 xXx"

While Simon Cowell added: "Great to be back in Scotland @GotTalent , I'm back with my little @Amanda_Holden"

Auditions for the show moved to Edinburgh this weekend, with thousands of fans packing out the city's Festival Theatre to watch the acts and the judges in action!

Introducing Amanda back onto the judging panel, Simon said: "We have all missed her but she’s back at last the wonderful, the adorable, Amanda Holden.”

To which Amanda joked: “It’s going to take me a little while to warm up, I’ve not spoken for three weeks.”

Backstage and it was all fun and games as usual, with Simon revealing a huge teddy bear as a present for Amanda and her new baby.

He quipped to David and Alesha, as he threw their present for Amanda out of the way: "Can you give me a hand with this? Do they look really small next to my present?”

Amanda replied: “I missed you.”

Britain’s Got Talent 2012 starts in April on ITV1.
