Pauline Pearce impressed Simon Cowell when the Britain's Got Talent 2012 auditions hit London earlier this week, it has been reported.
The 46-year-old, who became known as the 'Hackney Heroine' after last year's London riots, wowed the judges with her singing voice, the Daily Mail reports.
She told the judges at the Hammersmith Apollo: "Where I'm from, they call me Lady P. I just want to spread a little love."
Performing Louis Armstrong's What A Wonderful World for the panel, and 3,000-strong crowd, Simon told her: "You've got a lot of spirit and a lot of soul. You've a fantastic voice."
Jazz singer Pauline hit the headlines last year after an online video of her standing up to rioters in London went viral.
As fires burnt around her, Pauline ranted: "Why are you burning people's shops they have worked hard to build up?"
