Britain's Got Talent

The latest Britain's Got Talent 2012 auditions saw a 17-year-old Opera singer who has been dubbed "the new Susan Boyle."

According to the Daily Star, youngster Jonathan Antoine wowed the judges and crowds with pal Charlotte Jaconelli.

The young duo were apparently heckled as they went on stage, before getting a standing ovation with their booming operat5ic performance.

“I think London may have the winner this year," Simon reportedly said, before telling guest judge Carmen Electra: “It was like Susan all over again.”

However in a cruel twist, Simon suggested that Jonathan should split from Charlotte and go solo.

But a defiant Jonathan stood up to the music mogul, and said he would be sticking by his friend.

Simon replied: “My head says for you to dump her but my heart wants to say there was something magical to the two of you. So I’m saying yes.”

Britain’s Got Talent 2012 airs from April on ITV1.
