17-year-old girl singer Jeorgia Parara reportedly impressed Simon Cowell at Britain’s Got Talent auditions in London earlier this week.

According to EntertainmentWise, the teenager wowed the panel and crowds at the capital's Hammersmith Apollo when she performed a cover of Christina Aguilera's 'Hurt'.

The youngster apparently told the panel that it was her dream to determined to take part in the opening ceremony of the Olympics in London this year.

"I started working on it when I was 12 and as soon as I heard London won the Olympic bid it became my dream," she explained. "I want to do it through the show. It’s not too late, they haven’t picked the acts or the song”.

Simon supposedly replied: “I can see your potential. I am friends with the guy heading the Olympics and to him it’s a case of ‘Yes, I’ll put her on’ so it could happen.”

Writing on Twitter after the auditions, Simon teased: "Loving London auditions @GotTalent , saw a 17 year old singer yesterday who is off the chart good."

Unfortunately we'll all have to wait until when Britain's Got Talent 2012 starts this April to watch the audition!
