ITV has confirmed that Amanda Holden will return to the Britain's Got Talent judging panel this weekend for the Edinburgh auditions.
The actress took time off a fortnight ago following the birth of her baby daughter Hollie Rose, and was expected to remain absent for the rest of the tour after severe blood loss left her in a critical condition.
However, a quick recovery meant Amanda was discharged from hospital after only nine days, and reports claiming she was planning an early comeback to the show surfaced at the weekend.
A spokesperson said: "We're delighted to welcome her back to the panel."
Amanda will now attend auditions in Edinburgh and Birmingham, after missing three stops on the tour. She was present at last month's Manchester try-outs.
American actress and glamour model Carmen Electra is standing in for Amanda until Wednesday at the London auditions.
