A poet was amongst the latest group of Britain's Got Talent 2012 auditions, as the show visited Cardiff last week.
37-year-old Clare Washbrook performed her unique act in front of judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon as this year's auditions hit Wales.
“I am a bit chuffed," she told a local newspaper. “I had not auditioned for the show before and I haven’t been performing for very long.”
And Clare had big hopes for the show.
“I would like to be the next poet laureate,” she said. “I figured that going for this and performing for the Queen would improve my chances of being poet laureate.”
See how Clare does when Britain’s Got Talent returns to TV screens in April!
Auditions for the current series continue this week in London, with a very special guest judge standing in for Amanda.
