Britain's Got Talent 2012 judge Amanda Holden has told friends she's happier than ever after being discharged from hospital yesterday.
The West End and Wild At Heart star gave birth to her second daughter Hollie last Monday, but had been in hospital until yesterday after complications in the birth.
“Despite the trauma she has been through she has never been happier and feels now her life, and her family is complete," a friend told the Daily Mirror today.
The source added: “It has been a tough couple of weeks but Amanda is looking forward to some quality time with the family.
“She has been inundated with messages of support, cards and presents from the public. It has helped to give her strength and been a real boost as she fought back from a critical condition."
In a statement, Amanda's agent said: “We are delighted that Amanda is now home. She and Chris would like to thank everyone who was involved in her care for their amazing skill and dedication, and also thank everyone who sent kind thoughts and wishes.
“She is thrilled to be home with her family – Hollie is absolutely beautiful and Amanda and Chris are besotted with their girls.”
It's expected that Amanda won't be back on BGT now until the live shows in April, with Simon Cowell ruling out a replacement.
