Samantha Womack has confirmed previous rumours that she was being lined up as a judge for Britain's Got Talent 2012.
Speaking to The Sun today, Samantha revealed that show boss Simon Cowell had even flown her out to his LA mansion to try and persuade her to take part in the series.
Soap star Samantha was one of a number of stars being lined up for the new series, after both Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff quit the show last year.
"We talked about me joining," she told the tabloid. "But I'm contracted to South Pacific until March."
In the end Simon signed up former Strictly Come Dancing star Alesha Dixon for the role, a move which Strictly head judge Len Goodman said he should be "ashamed" of.
