Britain's Got Talent presenter Stephen Mulhern has said he'd love to see British singing sensation Adele and comedian Peter Kay on the panel next year. The magicina turned telly host, who fronts spin-off show More Talent, told BANG Showbiz added he didn't want another singer to win the show.
“If I was asked who I want on that panel, I would go for someone like Adele. She’d be an amazing choice in terms of the music side of things," he explained.
“But in terms of an entertainer I’d love Peter Kay to do it. I think he’d be exceptionally good. For me personally, I want a comedian or a magician to win the show, I don’t necessarily want to see another singer to win next year.”
Talking about the rumours of former X Factor judges Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue joining the show, Stephen confessed he was unsure whether they'd be able to take part.
He explained: “I don’t know if it would work with either of them actually. I know Dannii does ‘Australia’s Got Talent’, she was on ‘This Morning’ recently and she hinted that she’d been spoken to about ‘BGT’.
“Cheryl’s a very good judge and we know that from ‘X Factor’. But Cheryl is too close to Amanda in terms of Amanda’s a West End performer and actress so she gives very good constructive criticism in terms of musical performance. I think Cheryl is quite close to that, as is Dannii. Have all three!”
